Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables.
- Cook and assemble food orders according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area.
- Operate wood-fired pizza oven and other standard kitchen equipment according to safety standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or mobile payment system.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management.
- Handle food deliveries and properly store perishable items.
- Set up and break down the food truck at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist in planning and executing catering events and special orders.
- Follow all local health and safety standards, as well as have an active Food Handlers card from SNHD (required upon hire)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Conduct daily and weekly cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist in menu planning and development, suggesting new items or improvements.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on new procedures and promotions.
