Position Overview: 

One Voice One Team is seeking a talented and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance OVOT's online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our mission across various platforms.  


  • Develop and execute social media plans and campaigns in alignment with OVOT's goals and objectives. 
  • Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. 
  • Monitor and manage OVOT's social media accounts, including daily interaction with followers, responding to comments and messages, and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all social media channels. 
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimize strategies for increased reach, engagement, and conversions. 
  • Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve OVOT's social media presence and stay ahead of the curve. 
  • Support the development of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and infographics, to complement social media campaigns and initiatives. 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate social media efforts for events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns.  


  • Encouraged: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. 
  • Proven work experience (2+ years) in social media  
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and content creation. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and brand consistency. 
  • Familiarity with social media advertising, including paid campaigns and boosted posts, is an asset. 
  • Passion for social justice, community engagement, and advocacy.
