Welcome To Valterra Landscaping - Applying For The Crew Leader/Foreperson Position

We are a mid-sized landscape company which services various mid-size to large jobs all over the GTA and surrounding areas.  Our landscape season runs from March to December (weather permitting).  This is a seasonal fulltime job with approx. 40 to 60 hours a week.  We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated person with developed leader qualities.  Your wage will be based on your experience and qualifications.  Qualified persons only need apply.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Minimum 2 years experience in landscape construction industry.
• Valid Class “G” driver’s license with clean abstract, Class “A” license is an asset.
• Softscaping (planting) and hardscaping (interlock, etc.).
• Must be able to interpret and implement construction plans (interlock, natural stone, flagstone, decks, arbors, ponds and waterfalls, etc.)
• Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, good communication skills.
• Capable of outdoor/physical labour with attention to detail.
