Deductions Coordinator/Pricing Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated a Deductions Coordinator/Pricing Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for various aspects of pricing management, deductions processing, and supporting financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (But are not Limited to):
- Process and report deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Handle sundry invoicing, credits, and re-bills accurately and promptly.
- Maintain, review, and reconcile the Aged Debt Report to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and update Vendor Manuals and maintain vendor portal/online website contacts.
- Collect and resolve invalid deductions, collaborating with internal teams and vendors as needed.
- Prepare fines reports and participate in related meetings.
- Act as an internal resource for deductions and pricing inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
- Maintain a standardized process for updating price pages, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Support vendor pricing by managing Vendor Pricing Support (VPS) documents and processes.
- Distribute customer price pages and VPS documents internally.
- Participate in special projects, perform reporting, and conduct analysis as required.
- Assist in setting up and auditing Tradespend programs.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing processes and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 completion certificate and post-secondary education in Business Administration or related experience in accounting/finance with a capacity for quick learning.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Pivot tables and Power BI is an asset.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Proven experience in finance and analytical roles is advantageous.
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with others.
- Diplomatic and assertive when necessary.
- Efficient in working independently and as part of a team.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, only 45 minutes from Halifax.
- Reporting directly to the Manger of Pricing Processes and Programs.
- This is an on-site position.
