Duties
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle issues and service needs
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to accurately assess and recommend repairs
- Coordinate with the service team to schedule repairs and maintenance
- Provide estimates, upsell additional services, and explain repair details to customers
- Handle cash, credit and fleet transactions, invoices, and process payments
- Maintain customer records and follow up on service appointments
Skills
- Experience as a mechanic or strong mechanical knowledge preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology
- Ability to upsell services and products effectively
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Sales experience is a plus, particularly in a automotive setting
