Due to an increased workload, the Gaffney Group of Companies Ltd. is inviting applications for certified 309A Electricians full-time, permanent positions in Perth & Huron counties and occasionally province wide!

 

If you are motivated, efficient, adhere to all safety standards, able to work overtime when required, can conduct yourself in a professional manner without supervision and have a clean driving record, come talk to us about joining our team.

 We are looking for someone who:

1. Can perform a wide variety of electrical repairs and maintenance including fabrication of engineered or custom-built equipment and components and installation and service to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
2. Is knowledgeable and familiar with installation, repair and service of Agricultural, Mill, and Industrial equipment.
3. Can troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
4. Is comfortable being on call rotation with the other electricians.
5. Self starter who can work unsupervised, communicate effectively with customers and the office.
6. Available to work 9 hour shifts, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability and available for periodic overnight out-of-town work.

 All we ask is that you:

1. Are willing to work on-call.
2. Are a member in good standing with Ontario Skilled Trades, have a 309A certificate of qualification.
3. Available to work the occasional weekends, and holidays.
4. Willing to assist other team members as required and communicate regularly with the office and shop in Mitchell.
5. Have current certificates in Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform from a Ministry of Labour approved Training Provider.
