Live Wire Electrical Inc is a reputable electrical contractor specializing in residential and small commercial wiring. We perform high-end custom residential builds and renovations in Woolwich Township, Centre Wellington, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and surrounding areas.

Live Wire is seeking a licensed Electrical Journeyman with strong skills in residential electrical, an ability to work independently and possess high attention to detail.

This individual must:

Hold a 309A Construction and Maintenance License in good standing
Have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Working at Heights
both be able to work independently and in a team setting
have strong organizational skills
have excellent communication skills
have strong problem solving skills
be able to read and interpret drawings and produce required work at a high standard

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Part Time

$35-$40/hr based on experience

An Electrician - Construction and Maintenance plans, assembles, connects, installs, repairs, inspects, tests, verifies, and maintains electrical systems in various settings (i.e. residential, commercial). Duties include:

lays out, assembles, installs, repairs, maintains, connects and/or tests electrical systems
plans installations from blueprints, sketches and specifications, and installs all electrical and electronic devices
systematically diagnoses faults in electrical and electronic components, as required
measures, cuts, bends, assembles and installs conduits and other electrical conductor raceways
splices and terminates electrical conductors
tests electrical equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly
