We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our busy shop. The Tire Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tires on a variety of vehicles, ranging from standard passenger cars to light trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tire care and maintenance, as well as a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Install, rotate, and balance tires on a variety of vehicles.
• Inspect and repair tire damage, including patching and plugging.
• Perform tire-related services, such as checking tire pressure, tread depth, and alignment.
• Assist in routine vehicle maintenance such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake checks when needed.
• Ensure all tires meet safety and performance standards before returning the vehicle to the customer.
• Properly operate tire-changing and balancing machines and other necessary equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with tires and tire-changing equipment is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to assist in general vehicle maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift heavy tires and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
