The Store Support Centre for Charm Diamond Centres (CJ Limited) is looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Customer Experience Specialist at our location in Dartmouth, NS.

This Customer Experience Specialist interacts with our online customers and our customers for our brick-and-mortar stores to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. In addition, they will:

  • Process customer service requests by phone, email, and live chat
  • Maintain customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
  • Resolve customer complaints, manage database records, and coordinate service
  • Troubleshoot customer problems
  • Receive and send written correspondence
  • Handle stressful situations in an appropriate and respectful manner
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members
  • Provide accurate and friendly customer service in a timely fashion

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of past relevant experience
  • Dedication to providing outstanding customer service
  • Written communication - must be able to compose clear, concise, and coherent emails & chat messages
  • Verbal communication - must be able to listen and respond effectively to customers
  • The ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated experience performing research to resolve complex customer inquiries
  • Office administrative skills, accurate keyboarding, and data entry skills
  • Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
  • Computer savvy with a proven ability to navigate email, multiple computer systems, and customer service applications, and to utilize search tools to find information
