Job Description:

As a Commercial Lines Insurance Salesperson at Family Insurance, you will play a vital role in expanding our commercial client base. Your primary responsibility will be to locate, acquire and maintain clients. To achieve this you will need to be outgoing and willing to participate in networking opportunities, out bound mail and email campaigns combined with phone follow up.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to internal agency commercial leads.
• Develop and nurture relationships with commercial clients, serving as their trusted insurance advisor.
• Identify and qualify potential leads, expanding our client base.
• Conduct comprehensive insurance assessments and consultations with clients to understand their unique business risks and requirements.
• Customize commercial insurance packages that meet each client's specific needs and budget.
• Present and explain insurance policies, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the team to achieve agency sales targets and goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in commercial lines insurance sales.
• Active insurance producer license in Nevada (or the ability to obtain one).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of the local market and business community is advantageous.
