Welcome To Farm Fresh Poultry - Applying For The Accounting Clerk & Office Administrator Position

Location: Harriston, ON

Reports to: Director of Finance

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable administration
  • Data input validation (including 3-way match first review)
  • Executing cheque runs
  • Reviewing vendor statements against invoices on hand and following up for missing invoices/misapplied payments
  • Manage petty cash, including preparing it to be deposited at bank branch
  • Act as payroll liaison between employees and the payroll team to manage changes and requests
  • Scanning documents as required
  • Data collection and inventory tracking to support reporting

Office Administration Responsibilities:

  • Information resource for employee programs and allowances
  • HRIS administrator (onboarding, training, software troubleshooting)
  • Managing and purchasing office supplies
  • Managing office technology supplies and maintenance
  • Managing vehicle licenses (insurance, plates, CVOR renewal)
  • Managing mail run
  • Maintaining filing (both physical and electronic)

 Ideal Skills / Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping and/or entry-level accounting experience
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Positive, outgoing, helpful, team-player with a “can do” attitude
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to adapt to changes and handle moderate amounts of stress
  • Ability to assess situations and provide solutions (critical thinking)
  • Moderate Excel and Word skills

Salary

$45,000 - $50,000
