Welcome To Sweet Valley Home Care - Applying For The Caregiver Position

Hi future candidates!

We are looking for caregivers that are willing to work full time, part time, on-call or live-in:

1.) Evening shifts from 2-10pm

2.) Weekends from either 6am-2pm or 2-10pm

3.) Some overnights from 10pm-6am or 10pm-8am

*ONLY 8-10 HOUR SHIFTS, 40 HOURS A WEEK*

Pay: Depends on experience

Requirements:

1.) CPR/First Aid

2.) TB test (1st & 2nd step)

3.) Fingerprint & Background check

4.) Physical 

5.) Med Tech certification (if you don't have it, then its okay. We will make/help you sign up for a class when you're hired).

*When you do an interview, we require a copy of your ID & Social Security Card* 

Job responsibilities include:

1.) Assists client with activities of daily living and personal care functions as needed, including bathing, dressing, toileting (including adult briefs), grooming, oral hygiene, ambulation, bathing, and feeding.
2.) Helps provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and helping with laundry
3.) Helps client meet nutritional needs by providing meal planning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping and helps with dishes and kitchen clean-up
4.) Assists client to and from daily activities and helps with ambulation/transfers as specified in the Plan of Care
5.) Observe and report any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to the immediate supervisor in a timely manner
6.) Establishes and maintains effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
7.) Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
8.) Uses equipment and supplies safely and properly
9.) Maintains confidentiality regarding client information
10.) Performs duties as assigned on the client's personal care plan/ADL's
