We are currently recruiting for the position of Part-time Social Media Coordinator. As part of the hiring process, you will be subjected to complete an online assessment which may be considered lengthy.

About One Voice One Team  

One Voice One Team Youth Leadership Organization is a non-profit registered charity founded in 2008. Our mission is empowering youth to utilize their extraordinary leadership skills and talents to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.  We do this by providing character-based leadership programs, workshops, assemblies and community service. With fun physical and cognitive activities, we introduce and emphasize positive values to enable youth to see beyond their circumstances and lead with purpose.

 

Position Description 

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing social media strategies to enhance One Voice One Team's online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our mission across
various platforms. The position is part-time, 20 hours a week.

 

Qualifications 

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in social media, marketing and/or communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and content creation
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a highly dynamic environment
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and brand consistency
  • Familiarity with social media platforms & advertising, including paid campaigns and boosted posts
  • Social media analytical skills are desired
  • Experience with graphic design and video editing software is an asset
  • Creative thinker with a passion for community engagement
  • Strong sense of self-accountability

 

Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook,
    Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Monitor and manage One Voice One Team's social media accounts, including daily interaction with
    followers, responding to comments and messages, and addressing inquiries and concerns
    promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistency in
    messaging and branding across all social media channels.
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and
    optimize strategies for increased reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to
    continuously improve One Voice One Team's social media presence and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Support the development of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and
    infographics, to complement social media campaigns and initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to coordinate social media
    efforts for events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns.

 

Compensation: $20-$22/hour

Location: In-person workplace in Brampton, ON.
