We are currently recruiting for the position of Camp Content Creator  for our S.W.O.L.E.™ Summer Camp 2025. As part of the hiring process, you will be subjected to complete an online assessment which may be considered lengthy.

About One Voice One Team  

One Voice One Team Youth Leadership Organization is a non-profit and federally registered charity founded in 2008.  Our mission is empowering youth to utilize their extraordinary leadership skills and talents to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.  We do this by providing character-based leadership programs, workshops, assemblies and community service. With fun physical and cognitive activities, we introduce and emphasize positive values to enable youth to see beyond their circumstances and lead with purpose.

 

Position Description 

As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for promoting summer camp through capturing content (pictures, videos, testimonials, etc.), posting on our social media platforms, and any other tasks related to marketing and media as assigned by supervisor.  

 

Qualifications 

  • Experience working with children and/or youth 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills 
  • Ability to share creative and innovative ideas to enhance the promotion of camp 
  • Ability to work well within a team 
  • Open to receiving and delivering constructive feedback 
  • Strong sense of self-accountability 
  • Experience with graphic design 
  • Proficiency using various social media platforms and editing software 
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one) 
  • Must be able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (Age 18+) 

 

Tasks & Responsibilities 

Creativity:  

  • Capturing of pictures and videos of participants and staff during camp activities 
  • Editing of pictures, videos, flyers, and any other promotional materials 
  • Posting graphics, images and messaging through social media that bring to life the vision and culture of OVOT 
  • Promoting brand awareness and the growth of the OVOT organization through media and marketing 
  • Capturing testimonial feedback of campers, parents/guardians and staff  

Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Managing social media correspondence and online engagement; 
  • Establishing and maintaining social media correspondence with parents/guardians, if needed 
  • Collaborating with the management team regarding daily camp activities 

Safety and Wellbeing: 

  • Ensuring all content captured aligns with permission forms and media release agreements 
  • Completing detailed incident reports when necessary 
  • Handling all issues from a Trauma Informed perspective; 
  • Adhering to Health and Safety policies and Work Environment policies 

Camp Program Review: 

  • Sharing program/process improvement ideas during the summer camp debrief sessions and exit interviews 

 

Compensation: $19.20/hour

Start Date: June 23rd, 2025

End Date: August 15th, 2025

 

This position is seasonal, with a workload of around 40 hours a week.
