About Us: Nevada Adult Day Healthcare Centers is a dedicated adult day healthcare center committed to providing comprehensive services to adults with mental health disorders (MHD) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our adult day healthcare program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing services for individuals with MHD and IDD, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for participants and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight: Develop, implement, and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality services that meet the needs of adults with MHD/IDD.
Staff Supervision & Development: Lead a team of direct support professionals, activity coordinators, and healthcare staff by providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Participant Engagement: Ensure individualized care plans are developed and followed, promoting independence and participation in therapeutic activities.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including health and safety standards, Medicaid, and licensing requirements.
Collaboration & Community Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with caregivers, healthcare providers, and community partners to enhance service offerings and resources for participants.
Budget & Resource Management: Assist with financial planning, including budgeting, funding allocation, and resource utilization to maintain program sustainability.
Crisis Intervention & Problem-Solving: Address concerns, mediate conflicts, and respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring the well-being of all participants and staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in program management within an adult day care, behavioral health, or disability services setting.
Strong knowledge of MHD/IDD care principles, person-centered planning, and therapeutic interventions.
Familiarity with Medicaid waivers, licensing regulations, and healthcare compliance standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
