Position Overview

We are seeking Yard Labourers to join our team for the season. This role involves physically active, hands-on work in our yard, including handling landscaping materials and assisting customers. If you enjoy working outdoors and are reliable and motivated, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling: Load and unload plants, sod, bulk soils, rocks, and mulch.
Customer Assistance: Help customers load products and ensure a positive experience.
Equipment Operation: Operate or learn to use equipment like skid steers, bucket loaders, and forklifts.
Inventory Management: Receive product shipments and facilitate pallet returns for wholesale and retail customers.
Yard Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and safety in the yard at all times.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience with landscaping tools and equipment, such as skid steers, loaders, and forklifts, is an asset.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and clear communication.
Additional Skills: Fluency in English is required; a second language is an asset.
Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is necessary, as there is no public transit available in the area.
