At OK Tire Windsor, we’re committed to keeping vehicles safe and running smoothly for our commercial and retail customers. We’re currently hiring a Commercial Tire Technician to join our team in a full-time term position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

What You’ll Do

  • Install light truck and medium trucks
  • Perform tire repairs and assess when replacements are needed
  • Run the service truck, complete on the road service calls
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and cleanliness of the truck equipment
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service and explain repair needs
  • Complete accurate work orders and follow safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and damage-free work area, including customer vehicles
  • Safely dispose of used tires and materials in designated recycling areas

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial tire service is an asset
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
  • Farm & OTR experience will be considered an asset
  • Willing to work extended hours during seasonal tire changes
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 5 required; Class 3 an asset)
  • First Aid certification considered an asset
  • Must be reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time (Term Position)
  • Expected Hours: 42.5 – 46.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime
  • Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Location: 26 Morison Dr, Windsor, NS
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
