Job Title: Automotive Technician – Level 2 Apprentice or Higher

Position Overview

OK Tire in Windsor, NS, is seeking a reliable and motivated Automotive Technician who is a Level 2 Apprentice or above and has proven alignment experience to join our growing team. This full-time, permanent position is suited for someone who takes pride in quality work, values customer service, and is comfortable in a busy rural shop environment.

We service various vehicles, including cars and light trucks of all makes and models.

Key Responsibilities

Perform wheel alignments using computerized alignment equipment (experience required).
Diagnose steering, suspension, and brake issues; recommend and carry out appropriate repairs.
Conduct general vehicle maintenance and repair: tire installation, oil changes, fluid flushes, and more.
Assist in inspections, diagnostics, and complex repairs under supervision or independently, depending on certification level.
Document work performed and parts used accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable service when interacting with customers.

Qualifications

Level 2 Apprentice or higher (Journeypersons welcome).
Alignment experience is required—must be confident using alignment racks and associated equipment.
Knowledge of suspension systems, steering components, and brake repair.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow safety and shop procedures.
Valid driver’s license (clean abstract preferred).
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
