Position Overview:

As a Service Advisor, you will be the crucial link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians. You will be responsible for listening to customer needs, clearly explaining inspection findings and recommended services, and ensuring a smooth, positive, and transparent service experience from start to finish. Your primary focus will be building trust and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
  • Listen attentively to customer descriptions of vehicle issues or service requests.
  • Clearly translate customer needs into detailed repair orders for technicians.
  • Utilize our modern shop management software efficiently for scheduling, estimates, invoicing, and communication.
  • Clearly and honestly explain the results of our comprehensive vehicle inspections to clients.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance, ensuring transparency.
  • Obtain customer authorization before any work is performed.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the service process.
  • Advise clients on recommended maintenance schedules and necessary repairs based on inspection findings, prioritizing safety and long-term vehicle health.
  • Process payments and finalize invoices accurately.
  • Follow up with customers after their service visit to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, seeking positive resolutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with technicians and other team members in our fast-paced shop.
  • Consistently strive to meet and exceed our high standards for customer service and satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must-Haves:
    • Exceptional people skills: Friendly, empathetic, patient, and professional demeanor.
    • Outstanding communication skills: Ability to listen actively and explain technical information clearly and concisely.
    • A genuinely positive and energetic attitude: A "can-do" approach is essential.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
    • Comfort and proficiency with computer systems and modern software.
