Position Overview

We are seeking a Service Centre Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in our fast-paced service center. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will ensure smooth transactions and help create a positive shopping experience. This is a seasonal position from May to October, offering an excellent opportunity for motivated and reliable individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and thank them for their business upon departure.
• Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide in-person customer service to wholesale and retail clients.
• Assist customers in selecting products, locating items, and addressing inquiries about products and services.
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services.
• Process customer orders swiftly in a high-volume environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service center area.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role.
• Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) terminal is essential.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Personable, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluency in English; a second language is an asset.
• Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of horticulture or landscaping is an asset.
• Other Requirements:
• Ability to invoice customers professionally and promptly.
• Reliable transportation (no public transit is available to the area).
