We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Class 1 Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated and dependable individual with a proven track record of driving excellence.

Position Details:

Type: Seasonal (May to November) with potential for year-round employment.
Location: Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver landscaping materials, such as soils, mulches, sod, and trees, to locations within Calgary and surrounding areas.
Operate trucks and equipment, including hauling products or transporting equipment between various sites.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and proper placement of materials.
Load, secure, and transport materials while maintaining precise logbooks and records.
Conduct daily inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal maintenance and operation.

Qualifications

License: Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional driving experience.
Equipment Skills: Proficiency in operating equipment such as tractors with super B, flat decks, truck and wagon, tandem, tri-axle, water trucks, loaders, tele-dynes, and forklifts is an asset.
Site Knowledge: Experience moving equipment to and from various locations.
Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with dispatch, management, fellow drivers, and clients.
Area Knowledge: Familiarity with Calgary and surrounding street systems, with the capability to maneuver large vehicles through tight residential areas.
Work Ethic: Dependable, hardworking, and committed to excellence.

Additional Information

Transportation Requirement: Applicants must have their own transportation as public transit is not available in our area.
