Sylvan Lake Autopro is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice or Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Diagnosis: Perform thorough and accurate vehicle diagnostics, adopting a systematic approach to pinpoint the root cause of any issue.
   
• Comprehensive Inspections: Conduct complimentary digital courtesy inspections on every vehicle to ensure safety, identify urgent concerns, and review maintenance needs for long-term reliability.
   
• Quality Repairs: Execute repairs to the highest standard, ensuring the client's primary concerns are resolved effectively.
   
• Detailed Documentation: Clearly and professionally document all findings and work performed. For diagnostic work, provide a detailed story outlining the verification of the issue, steps taken, test results, and a clear solution.
   
• Adherence to Procedures: Meticulously follow all shop procedures, including the processes for vehicle check-in , work order review , and key handling.
   
• Client-Focused Communication: Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure all client concerns are addressed. On occasion, you may be asked to speak directly with a client to walk them through diagnostic findings in detail.
   
• Team Collaboration: Notify the reservationist or shop controller about waiting appointments or changes in vehicle pick-up times to ensure smooth workflow.
   
   

Qualifications and Skills:

• Registered Automotive Apprentice (2nd year or higher) or a licensed Journeyman Technician.
• Proven experience and strong skills in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and professional documentation.
• A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude that aligns with our customer-centric philosophy.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, professional work.
• The ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
