Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Planning Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, procurement, and management of maintenance-related inventory and processes. As a processor of chicken and turkey for our Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island farmers, Eden Valley Poultry is unique in the industry. As a key support to our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Manage and maintain maintenance inventory, including stockroom organization, cycle counts, and receiving supplies.
  • Issue purchase orders, source parts, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Schedule and review preventive maintenance tasks and work orders using the TAG system.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and maintenance schedules in the TAG system.

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience in maintenance planning, inventory, or procurement roles.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment parts sourcing.
  • Proficient in TAG or similar systems and MS Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills[‘
  • Able to work flexible hours, lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in office and industrial settings with PPE or noise exposure.
  • Willing to cross-train and support other inventory roles.
