Assign tasks based on work schedules, keep workers on task, inspect the quality of work to ensure job requirements are met. Instruct crew members on proper work standards. Interact with customers to resolve issues or answer questions. Crew leaders, also called foreperson, work along with crew members in completing all landscaping installations/maintenance. Operate a variety of hand tools and equipment to complete landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in softscape and hardscape installations, with proven leadership experience.
Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of landscaping experience
-Strong knowledge of hardscape construction (e.g. walkways etc.)
-Ability to manage and motivate a crew
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate daily job site operations
-Read and execute landscape pans accurately
-Ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards
-Train and mentor crew members
-Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
