?? About the Opportunity:

PMCM Consulting Services LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Manager. This role involves leading multiple concurrent education technology and enterprise system projects for one of the largest school districts in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills, previous experience in public-sector or educational institutions, and a deep understanding of software project life cycles, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

? Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage district-wide IT and classroom technology projects, from implementation to closeout.
  • Coordinate with school districts departments, contractors, and suppliers to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed work plans including budgets, timelines, deliverables, and reporting frameworks.
  • Track project costs, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with all district and state regulations.
  • Report progress and performance updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Lead contract management, documentation workflows, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Apply best practices in change management, quality assurance, and process improvement.

?? Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT or enterprise projects.
  • Proven experience with large-scale implementations such as Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or other project management software.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • Experience in K-12 or public sector environments.
  • Familiarity with FERPA, HIPAA, and government procurement policies.
  • Working knowledge of 2 CFR 200 (Federal grant compliance).
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities in fast-paced environments.
