Purpose
The purpose of the Store Leader role is to lead daily operations of the restaurant while
developing team members, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding all brand, food safety,
and operational standards. This position combines leadership, training, operations, and team
development into one cohesive role that drives the success of the store.
Primary Responsibilities
? Foster a positive, high-performance culture by leading by example and setting clear
expectations.
? Oversee and manage all aspects of restaurant operations including staffing, training,
food safety, guest service, cleanliness, and sales.
? Lead onboarding and development using the Popeyes Academy platform; ensure 90%
completion of modules across team.
? Monitor and drive key metrics: labor, food cost, Guest Experience Metrics targets, and
guest satisfaction.
? Ensure team compliance with all hygiene, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
? Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members to drive individual and team
growth.
? Conduct performance check-ins, lead team recognition through Kudos, and support a
motivating work environment.
? Stay updated on RBI Canada standards, brand initiatives, and Steritech requirements.
Shift Responsibilities
? Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) with full responsibility for shift operations.
? Ensure execution of CAJUN Hospitality and Lagniappe service excellence.
? Prepare team member positioning and fair delegation of tasks at shift start.
? Conduct travel path inspections to ensure cleanliness inside and outside the store.
? Maintain time-of-ticket target under 3 minutes while ensuring product quality.
? Complete HACCP logs, ensure food safety standards are consistently followed, check
product quality, and enforce FIFO storage compliance.
? Monitor and coach based on Steritech audit criteria and guest feedback.
? Use and enforce Daily Routine Checklist and ensure checklist compliance by team.
? Handle all HR procedures including breaks, recognition, and open communication.
? Secure the store by ensuring execution of all safety and security protocols.
Position Requirements
? Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant leadership role.
? Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within 50 KM.
? Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
? Solid knowledge of foodservice and restaurant operations.
? Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
? Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
? Experience using business reports to drive improvements in sales and performance.
? Capable of balancing multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
? Flexible availability: must meet or exceed 70% of operating hours including Fridays,
Saturdays, and two closing shifts per week.
? Certified in Popeyes Management Course (PMC).
