Burlington Hyundai is urgently seeking a mature individual with a good command of English, both written and oral, to join our team as a full-time Receptionist. The successful candidate must be able to start right away. This is a temporary, full-time position, ideal for someone ready to hit the ground running. The position of the Receptionist plays a vital role in managing the front desk operations and providing exceptional customer service to guests. This position serves as the primary point of contact for individuals entering the facility and is responsible for maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Receptionist, you'll play a critical role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and keeping our front desk operations running smoothly. You'll report directly to the Controller and collaborate closely with our Customers, Product Advisors, and Department Managers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Answer all incoming telephone calls and retrieve voice messages.
- Greet incoming customers and assist as required.
- Record and dispatch items for courier service.
- Generate and record customer receipts as required.
- Take incoming messages and deliver as required.
- Type reports, memos, quotes and other correspondence as required.
- Vehicle licensing, including maintenance of garage registers and supply of applicable forms.
- Record daily sales calls when requested by management
- Maintain supply and record of vehicle security stickers (i.e. Protection Plus or Globali) and fax weekly report.
- Stocking in all new and used vehicles.
- Maintain stock of deal jackets, window stickers and key tags.
- Maintain Contact and Reception Binders as well as Employee Extension List and personal contact information.
- Filing as requested.
- Order all dealership stationery and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Order all flowers, cards and gift baskets as requested.
- Maintain reception area in a clean, orderly manner.
- Communicate with and support other areas of the dealership as required.
- Maintain proper dress and deportment.
- Complete assigned tasks on time.
- Take ownership of and successfully resolve problems as required.
- Assist with emergent and unforeseen issues as required.

Additional Requirements
- 1 year experience as Receptionist or Administrative Assistant
- Adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities concurrently
- Demonstrate professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct at all times
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Collaborate and work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment and the overall success of the Dealership
- All DealerPilot and any Hyundai required training, documents, and acknowledgements are up to date.
