WE’RE HIRING: QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN

 

The Gaffney Group of Companies is expanding, and we're looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our hardworking team based in Mitchell, Ontario. This is a full-time, permanent position working on a variety of commercial, agricultural, and industrial projects across Perth and Huron counties — and occasionally across the province.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

A dependable, energetic electrician with a great attitude and solid customer service skills. Someone who’s organized, a team player, and eager to learn and grow with us.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Performing electrical installs, repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance on agricultural and industrial equipment
• Working independently and interacting professionally and building long-term relationships with customers
• Regular Monday to Friday shifts (9-hour days), with occasional overtime and weekend work

 

What You’ll Need:

• A valid Certificate of Qualification and in good standing with Ontario Skilled Trades
• Current Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform certifications
• Willingness to work occasional weekends, holidays, or overnight out of town, when required
• Comfortable with on-call rotations and regular communication with our Mitchell office
