We are seeking an experienced and results*driven Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role requires the ability to manage a diverse team, optimize production efficiency, and ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and maintenance.
* Manage and lead a team of production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
* Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
* Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Manage inventory levels and ensure proper materials handling to minimize waste.
* Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Prepare and manage the manufacturing budget, forecasting staffing and resource needs.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance among employees.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with [X] years in a managerial role.
