About the Job

Full time opportunity for a boutique law firm specializing in estate planning and probate matters in downtown Las Vegas.  We do estate planning services, trusts, probate and LGBTQ planning.  This is an exciting position that will allow you to use your creativity and develop the role into a robust position.  We are currently looking for someone 40 hours a week, in the office. 

Job Overview

The primary role of the Estate Planning Paralegal is to support the firm’s operations by preparing estate plans for our clients.  In addition, you will support our clients and be the face and heart of the office.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Working knowledge of court rules and procedures
  • Experience in customer service

  • Able to receive and provide feedback

Duties

Your duties would include, but are not limited to:

  • Assemble all documents from Client Intake Sheet using computer software
  • Understand the process of transferring the title of every kind of asset
  • Make appropriate database and status report entries daily
  • Create funding documents from asset lists provided by clients
  • Assemble documents for client signing appointments
  • Record documents in Nevada and California
  • Prepare estate planning binders
  • Make phone calls and send emails to confirm appointments and attendance, track follow up
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings
