Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in new and existing residential buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds provincial code and safety standards
• Mentor and supervise apprentices when required
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and homeowners to ensure efficient project completion
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Valid Electrical License (Red Seal or Provincial equivalent)
• Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in all weather conditions including extreme cold and heat
• Minimum 2 years of residential electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local building regulations
• Experience with production housing, renovations, and custom home projects
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Management and leadership skills
