Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Crew Management

• Schedule and dispatch crews for local, long-distance, and warehouse operations.
• Support drivers, ensure proper documentation, and maintain accurate system records.

 

Truck Maintenance & Safety

• Oversee truck maintenance, inspections, licensing, and repairs.
• Investigate incidents and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

 

Hours of Service Management

• Manage the ELD system, including driver training, while ensuring compliance with hours-of-service regulations.

 

Facility Maintenance

• Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and contractor/vendor work.
• Maintain building systems, safety inspections, and records; oversee grounds maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and safely operate company vehicles.

 

Additional Duties

• Support hiring, training, terminations, health and safety, and operational purchasing.
• Assist with warehouse activities and other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in operations, dispatching, transportation, or logistics coordination (moving industry experience is an asset).
• Valid driver’s license (AZ or DZ is an asset).
• Ability to work early mornings, late afternoons, or weekends as operational needs require.
• Physically capable of assisting in warehouse tasks when needed.

 

Location: 25 Metropolitan Rd, Scarborough, ON M1R 2T5

Pay: $55,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience. 

Work: Onsite
