Host

At El Gaucho Portland hosts are essential to our front-of-house operations. You'll manage guest arrivals, coordinate seating, and ensure smooth communication between guests and the service team. This fast-paced role requires energy, professionalism, and strong multitasking abilities in a fine dining environment.

Daily responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests with authentic hospitality
• Assisting with coats and personal belongings
• Escorting guests to tables and presenting menus
• Answering calls and managing reservations professionally
• Communicating guest needs to the service team
• Supporting the Lead Host with accurate table management

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience
• Availability for evenings, weekends (Friday & Saturdays) and Holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting

Compensation: $23-25 Hourly | DOE (Part-Time)
