The Parts Shipper and Receiver is an essential role within the Parts Department to ensure the efficiency of parts being delivered and picked up from various wholesale vendors and maintains the parts room with cleanliness and competence. The shipper/Receiver also ensures accuracy of inventory records within the dealership’s operating system(s).

Duties & Responsibilities

To maintain the physical inventory, and the inventory records within the operating system.
Delivery of parts to wholesale customers.
Pick up parts and supplies from outside vendors as required.
To receive and ship parts to and from suppliers and input correctly into the operating system.
To keep the parts room clean and orderly with parts in correct bin locations.
Keeping accurate records within the operating system on Burlington Hyundai customer base and following our privacy policies and procedures.
Be punctual for work hours.
Maintain positive customer relations.
Ensure knowledge and compliance with WHIMIS.
Communicate with and support other areas of dealership.
Take ownership of and successfully resolve problems as required.
Assist with unforeseen and emergent issues as required.
Keep accurate records of the parts delivery vehicle in respect to maintenance and daily safety inspections.
Adhere to all MTO laws and regulations while driving any company vehicle

Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract mandatory
Ability to lift, load, bend and move automotive parts

Hours of Work

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM * some evenings and weekends required*

Burlington Hyundai operates Monday through Saturday. A minimum of 40 hours per week during general business hours is expected.
