El Gaucho is an iconic Pacific Northwest steakhouse known for tableside service, prime-aged beef, and an unwavering commitment to hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Pantry Cook to bring precision, consistency, and care to our kitchen in Seattle.

In this role, you will own your station and play an integral part in delivering the seamless, elevated experience El Gaucho is known for. If you take pride in clean execution and thrive in a fast-paced fine dining environment — we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Execute service on the pantry station with precision and consistency
Prepare cold appetizers, salads, desserts, and other pantry items to El Gaucho's standards
Uphold El Gaucho's standards for food quality, plating, and presentation
Assist sous chefs with kitchen operations as needed
Monitor station inventory and communicate needs to management
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitation-compliant workstation
Support other stations as needed and contribute to a cohesive kitchen team
Participate in menu development and testing

Qualifications

3–4 years of kitchen experience, including fine dining
Strong command of cold food preparation and presentation
Composure and efficiency during high-volume service
Strong organizational and communication skills
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Valid Food Handler's Permit
Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation & Benefits

$22.00/hour
