Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Class 3 Drivers – Tree Delivery & Planting. This seasonal position involves delivering and hand planting trees across Calgary and surrounding areas using a knuckle crane or dolly. Training on the knuckle crane will be provided if required.

Position Overview
This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and a willingness to work long hours. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery and planting of trees for residential and commercial clients.

Primary Responsibilities

Safely deliver trees and hand-plant at various locations within Calgary and the surrounding areas.
Operate trucks and equipment, including a knuckle crane (training provided if needed).
Interact with customers to ensure trees are appropriately placed and provide excellent customer service.
Load and secure deliveries while maintaining accurate logbooks and records.
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.

Qualifications
Required:

Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Professional driving experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members.
Knowledge of Calgary’s street systems and the ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight residential areas.
Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including working long hours as required.
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred:

Experience with knuckle cranes, water trucks, loaders, tele-dynes, forklifts, or other equipment.

Applicants must have reliable personal transportation, as public transit is not available in our area.
