Demand Planning Manager, Full Time-Permanent 

Reports to:  Director of Production Planning.

Located at: Works remotely, with requirements to be onsite at YVF locations or at co-manufacturing partners on an as-needed basis. 

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 4 pm. (hours may vary)

The ideal candidate:

  • Strategic thinking combined with attention to operational detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent planning and scheduling skills required.
  • Strong analytics, multitasking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence decision-making without direct authority.
  • Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience in collaborating with outside stakeholders and the ability to build strong relationships with others.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to assess situations and provide solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate amounts of stress, and limited structure or direct supervision.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making without direct authority.
  • Demand planning experience is desired, but not mandatory.
  • Strong Excel skills, moderate Word and Power Point skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end demand planning and forecasting process for fresh, frozen and further processed organic poultry products.
  • Develop accurate, actionable demand forecasts to support production planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership by acting as the central point of contact for demand-related questions across the organization.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to incorporate customer forecasts, promotions, and new product introductions.
  • Develop and implement required business metrics to support the monitoring of 3rd party facilities for conformance against established product specifications and adherence to regulatory and business requirements.
  • Monitor yields and invoicing from designated 3rd party facilities to ensure production processes remain within target control ranges and overall costs remain in line with target expectations.
  • Complete assigned monthly business reporting within required timelines.
  • Lead project workstreams and initiatives focused on driving the key priorities of the business.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations regarding new opportunities and/or issues.
  • Support Senior Management in the development and execution of operational strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
