Support Staff | El Gaucho Vancouver & Witness Tree Lounge $23 to $26/hr | Growth potential into Private Dining Event Server at $30/hr
We're looking for sharp, energetic team players to join our support staff at one of Vancouver's premier steakhouses. This role spans all support positions and flexibility across Host, Busser, Food Runner, and Expo is required. Candidates who show consistency, skill, and a passion for hospitality have the opportunity to move into our Private Dining department as an Event Server, working exclusive dinners and curated experiences at $30/hr.
As a Host, you're the first and last impression of the evening. You'll greet guests, assist with coats, escort to tables, manage reservations, answer incoming calls, and communicate special requests to the team. Our hosts set the tone for the entire dining experience and take pride in making every guest feel expected and welcomed.
As a Busser, you'll work hand in hand with servers to maintain the flow of service, clear and reset tables between courses, serve water, bread, and butter, and keep the dining room looking sharp at all times.
As a Food Runner or Expo, you'll be the critical link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring every plate leaves accurately, promptly, and beautifully presented. You'll coordinate with the kitchen and service team to keep timing tight and guests happy.
Across all positions, we expect attention to detail, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to hospitality done right.
