Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and holidays required; Sundays and Mondays off except during special events

We are actively recruiting experienced Fine Dining Servers who bring deep hospitality knowledge, polished service skills, and a genuine passion for making every guest experience memorable.

 

Your Role

As a Server at El Gaucho Boise, you will manage a section of 3 to 4 tables and serve as the lead coordinator between front and back of house throughout service. You will bring comprehensive knowledge of food, wine, and beverage to every table, guide guests through a fine-dining experience with precision and warmth, and apply strong salesmanship rooted in genuine hospitality. This is a role for a seasoned professional who is as comfortable with tableside preparation as they are with building lasting guest relationships.

 

Areas of Responsibility

  • Deliver polished fine-dining service across a section of 3 to 4 tables with precision and genuine warmth
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of food, beverage, and wine to guide and elevate every guest's experience
  • Execute proper fine-dining coursing and steps of service with appropriate timing throughout each meal
  • Drive sales through skillful, hospitality-rooted recommendations that enhance the guest experience
  • Accurately receive and enter food and beverage orders through the POS system
  • Coordinate seamlessly with front-of-house and back-of-house teams throughout service
  • Handle cash and process payments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Deliver exceptional service that builds guest loyalty and encourages return visits
  • Execute tableside service with confidence where applicable

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of serving experience in a fine-dining or upscale dining environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food, wine, and beverage with the ability to speak confidently about the menu
  • Demonstrated understanding of fine-dining steps of service and proper coursing
  • Strong salesmanship skills grounded in authentic hospitality
  • Proficiency with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
  • Accurate and efficient cash handling skills
  • Valid alcohol server certification
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays per the posted schedule
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills
  • Tableside service experience is a strong plus

 

Compensation

During the 2-week training period you will receive $12.00 per hour. After training, pay is $3.35 per hour plus tips. Our servers typically earn $40.00 to $60.00 per hour including tips, though actual earnings vary based on individual sales and guest gratuities and are not guaranteed.
