Job Overview

EasyStorage Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be responsible for the accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of financial data, supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making within EasyStorage. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting principles knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset records and perform depreciation calculations.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory reports as required.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and potential issues.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the finance department.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within a storage or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and US tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or progress towards licensure.
• Experience with inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools.
