Title: Sales & Logistics Coordinator, Full time/Permanent

Reports to: Supply Chain & Live Procurement Manager

Location: onsite at Farm Fresh Poultry, Harriston, ON

Positions Available: 1 (New)

This role is based out of Farm Fresh Poultry, our federally licensed primary processing facility. 

We’re hiring for a Sales & Logistics Coordinator! 

This newly created role is based out of Farm Fresh Poultry, in Harriston, Ontario. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills. They work well in a dynamic environment and are adaptable in response to unforeseen changes to daily schedules. In addition, they are patient and personable and can interact professionally with stakeholders from different aspects of the business.

Reports to: Supply Chain & Live Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the sales and order entry of all Farm Fresh product daily
  • Assists in logistics planning of product delivery
  • Maintains a liaison relationship as "customer service rep" between plant staff and customers
  • Inform supervisors of production demands daily
  • Assists with finished goods inventory
  • Assists in the development or changes of new products or customer requests
  • Assists in compiling and issuing all weekly, monthly and periodic reporting on designated sales and operations metrics
  • Supports the Supply Chain & Live Procurement Manager as required; inclusive of providing holiday coverage and supporting on the floor when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • High school graduate with a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience
  • Positive, outgoing, helpful, team-player with a “can do” attitude
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to adapt to changes and handle moderate amounts of stress
  • Ability to assess situations and provide solutions (critical thinking)
  • Flexible working hours
  • Strong Excel and Word skills
