Position Summary

The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for understanding customer concerns, recommending maintenance and repair services, preparing estimates, scheduling appointments, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from vehicle drop-off through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build strong professional relationships.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
• Prepare repair orders and service estimates.
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate repair progress and updates to customers.
• Coordinate workflow with technicians and shop management.
• Review completed work with customers and explain services performed.
• Process payments and close repair orders.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.
• Achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to upsell maintenance and repair recommendations ethically and confidently.
• Experience using shop management software is an asset.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
