This is a field-based sales and business-development position. The successful candidate will spend much of their time meeting customers at their businesses and jobsites, understanding the work they perform, identifying equipment needs, and recommending practical tool and equipment solutions.
The representative will work closely with Tool Beast’s internal sales, service, parts, and operations teams, as well as our manufacturer partners, including Milwaukee, EGO, Makita, Bosch, SKIL, FLEX, IQ Power Tools, Briggs & Stratton, Oregon, and others.
The objective is not simply to sell individual products. The representative will become a trusted resource who helps customers select, standardize, maintain, and support the tools and equipment their businesses depend on.

Consultative Jobsite Sales
- Visit customer businesses and jobsites to understand their applications, operating conditions, equipment challenges, and purchasing priorities.
- Recommend appropriate tools, outdoor power equipment, batteries, accessories, storage systems, and related jobsite solutions.
- Help customers compare available brands and product platforms based on application, performance, serviceability, availability, and overall value.
- Prepare accurate quotations and product recommendations.

Compensation
Guaranteed earnings of $17.95 per hour, based on a 37.5-hour workweek, with the opportunity to earn more through commission on eligible new tool sales. During each commission reconciliation period, the employee will be paid the greater of their guaranteed hourly earnings or earned commission. Approved business mileage is reimbursed separately.
The employee will also be eligible to earn commission on qualifying new tool sales under Tool Beast’s written commission plan. For each defined commission reconciliation period, the employee will receive the greater of:

The hourly guarantee and commission are alternative compensation calculations and are not added together, unless expressly stated otherwise in the written commission plan.
Approved business kilometres travelled using the employee’s personal vehicle will be reimbursed separately at the CRA’s established mileage rate. Mileage reimbursement and approved business expenses will not be included when comparing hourly earnings with commission earnings.
