Position Overview

Landscape Construction Worker
As part of our landscaping team, you will contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.

Snow Removal Operator
During winter, you will play a critical role in maintaining safe and accessible outdoor areas by operating snow removal equipment or joining hand crews.

Key Responsibilities

Landscape Construction:

Lead by example and ensure the team prioritizes customer satisfaction.
Complete tasks safely and responsibly according to project schedules.
Load and unload trucks and trailers.
Perform landscaping tasks including planting, digging, raking, and hauling materials.
Operate tools and equipment such as skid steers and excavators.
Follow basic landscape plans and quality standards.
Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
Communicate effectively as part of a team and maintain professionalism with clients.

Snow Removal:

Operate snowplows, loaders, skid steers, and enclosed pathway sweepers.
Perform snow removal as part of on-call duties.
Work in adverse weather conditions to ensure client safety and satisfaction.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, and noise).
Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, crouching, and lifting for extended periods.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment.
Training and tools are provided, though prior knowledge is an asset.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or landscaping.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with operating skid steers, loaders, excavators, and related equipment.
Commitment to safety as a top priority.
Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work long days in all weather conditions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Reliable transportation (public transit is unavailable in our area).
Adherence to company policies and health and safety regulations.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Courteous communication with customers and colleagues.
