Position Overview

Landscape Construction Worker
As part of our landscaping team, you will contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.

Snow Removal Operator
During winter, you will play a critical role in maintaining safe and accessible outdoor areas by operating snow removal equipment or joining hand crews.

Key Responsibilities

Landscape Construction:

  • Lead by example and ensure the team prioritizes customer satisfaction.
  • Complete tasks safely and responsibly according to project schedules.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Perform landscaping tasks including planting, digging, raking, and hauling materials.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as skid steers and excavators.
  • Follow basic landscape plans and quality standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively as part of a team and maintain professionalism with clients.

Snow Removal:

  • Operate snowplows, loaders, skid steers, and enclosed pathway sweepers.
  • Perform snow removal as part of on-call duties.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions to ensure client safety and satisfaction.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, and noise).
  • Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, crouching, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment.
  • Training and tools are provided, though prior knowledge is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or landscaping.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with operating skid steers, loaders, excavators, and related equipment.
  • Commitment to safety as a top priority.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work long days in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

  • Reliable transportation (public transit is unavailable in our area).
  • Adherence to company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Courteous communication with customers and colleagues.
