Communicates with and assists servers to maintain service efficiency and ensures guest satisfaction. Serves water, bread, and butter to guests and provides refills as needed. Responsible for clearing guests’ plates, utensils, and other service items from the table between courses and clears tables after guests leave. Replaces dishes and utensils for next course and cleans and resets vacated tables. Returns dirty dishes, utensils, and glassware to
dish washing area or bar. May assist waitstaff in serving tables with hot beverages such as coffee or tea. Maintain clean, organized, and well stocked work stations.
