Responsibilities include checking in and out guests, reservations, processing all transactions, proper ID and cash handling, maintaining lobby cleanliness, happy hour set-up/break-down, comprehensive concierge service, and room inspections for all arrivals. The position requires the ability to exhibit professional demeanor under stress while solving practical problems with limited support, the ability to learn new computer systems, compute and adjust mathematical calculations, and the confidence to work effectively under the pressure of multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, speed, courtesy, and cooperativeness under little or no supervision. Previous hotel experience is preferred, must be a high school graduate, and have the ability to lift 30 pounds without assistance.
