The Captain position serves a multitude of functions at all times. Overseeing the details of several server sections, a captain’s focus is on operations, management of staff and upholding of company standards while facilitating all aspects of a warm, inviting and extraordinary guest experience. With each server and busser in their roles, the Captain is able to fill in any gaps with precision and flourish with a keen eye to detail and guest needs. The primary function is to ensure the guest experience as a positive, fluid and memorable event. Responsibilities include nightly floor service, administrative duties and operational oversight. Experience in coursed service, fine dining etiquette, problem solving and management are required as well as an ability to work well under pressure while managing staff expectations. Must have a desire for team success through a positive, upbeat and energetic attitude toward guests and team members.
