Role:

The Credit Analyst plays a critical role within Pepco's Team because he leads the efforts of the management of credit within the organization.

The Credit Analyst is responsible for issuing and monitoring of our customers' credit and for collecting delinquent accounts to ensure alignment with our corporate strategy.

The Credit Analyst attract new customers balancing the expedited review of new credit application while maintaining alignment with our Credit Policy. The Credit Analyst retains existing customers by ensuring that we have a “customer first” culture that serves them beyond their expectations while maintaining alignment with our Credit Policy.

Main responsibilities:

1) Credit Management: The Credit Analyst is responsible to:

a. Follow the established Credit Policy and credit processes;

b. Review residential and commercial credit applications within the established service level commitments;

c. Monitor existing customers credit performance to maintain the Accounts Receivable within the established targeted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); and

d. Report to the Controller by analyzing data and using Credit KPIs.

2) Collection: The Credit Analyst is responsible to:

a. Follow the established Credit Policy and credit processes;

b. Ensure the cash collection is maintained as per the Weekly Collection Budget;

c. Maintain bad debts write off below the budget; and d. Report to the Controller by analyzing data and using Credit KPIs.

Deliverables:

1) Credit Management:

a. The documented Credit Policy and credit processes are followed to the letter;

b. New credit applications are reviewed, and credit decisions are communicated within 72 hours of receipt; and

c. Credit KPIs are forwarded to the Controller every Monday by noon.

2) Collection:

a. Accounts Receivables are maintained at a minimum of 90% current at all times;

b. The Weekly Collection Budget is attained; and

c. Bad debts write offs are below 35,000$ per year.

Resources:

a) Human Resources: Controller, Sales Team (Directors and Advisors), AR Clerk, Dispatchers

b) Policy & Regulatory: Common Law, Ontario Small Claims Court, Civil Law, Pepco Credit Policy

c) Other: Microsoft NAV, MS Office, Computer, Phone, Applicable third-party tools (ex: Collection Agency (QC), Euler Hermes, Equifax)
